MediaWiki @ Oracle database

Open-source Media Wiki on Oracle database.

Out there, we can find many different versions of Wiki programs. Among all of them, MediaWiki is the best known, as it runs Wikipedia.

In our company, we are use MediaWiki as well. We have noticed that it doesn't support Oracle database, so we decided to make it possible to connect MediaWiki with Oracle database. Advantages of using Oracle database:

• integration into existing business environment
• saving data and backup together with other data
• reliability (Oracle RAC, DataGuard)
